CNP was founded to answer the call put forth by Bayard Rustin, Essex Hemphill, Marlon Riggs, and James Baldwin.
We are a political and cultural home, a place where we can bring all of the parts of ourselves and be affirmed. As we continue to face and endure anti-Black racism and other forms of structural violence, CNP is committed to responding, to fighting, and to resisting. Most importantly we are committed to inspiring joy and creating beauty even in the darkest moments. This includes creating content like our Black Physicians COVID-19 Roundtable, expanding the impact of the resources we offer like the “Can We Talk? A Black Gay Men's Conversation on Crystal Meth,” and delivering innovative and culturally relevant programming like our CNP Community Summit and our We Will Be Heard inititiave. Your donation makes this work possible.
