Can We Talk?: A Black Gay Men's Conversation on Crystal Meth is a conversation guide. The purpose of this guide is to offer information and support for concerned individuals interested in learning more about crystal methamphetamine (hereafter referred to as “meth” or “crystal meth”). Further, the impetus of this document is to assist readers in encouraging and supporting a person using crystal meth on how to reduce their health risk while engaging in substance use.

This document will:

  • Provide basic information on the who, why, what, where, and how of crystal meth

  • Offer strategies on how to reduce the worst health effects of crystal meth use

  • Link users to resources that can further support harm reduction and recovery
